We wanted to inform you about upcoming changes to our primary care service, effective from June 1st. These changes aim to enhance the quality of care we provide and ensure you receive the most appropriate assistance for your healthcare needs.
Please note that, as part of our commitment to improving patient care and accessibility, we are now obliged to signpost you to the most suitable service. This may include offering you an appointment with a member of our clinical team, such as a GP, Nurse, Physician Associate, Paramedic, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist or our social prescribers. Alternatively, we may direct you to services like Dorset Mind or the community pharmacy consultation service, which can also address certain medical concerns effectively.
We may also direct you to our online consultation platform called eConsult available on our website. We understand that some patients may require assistance with using eConsult, and we are here to help. However, please be aware that this may result in an additional delay in getting through to us via phone. If you prefer to skip the phone queue, you can use eConsult on our website. Once you submit your consultation, our practice will be in touch within two working days.
We understand that you may have questions or require assistance regarding these changes. Please don’t hesitate to contact our practice, and our dedicated team will be available to guide and support you.
Thank you for your understanding as we work towards improving our services for the benefit of all our patients.
Kind regards,
The Marine and Oakridge Partnership
